Is it normal for a straight guy to be attracted to emo girls?

I am a straight guy meaning I don't smoke, drink, have tattoos or piercings, and have an ordinary crew cut hairstyle. I also dress pretty conservatively.
However I often find myself attracted to emo girls with their carefree smoking and drinking habits, tattoos and piercings, unconventional hairstyles and alternative sense of fashion.
I follow a few emo girls on youtube and elsewhere online and they have some of the friendliest and sweetest personalities ever, so looks can be deceiving.
Maybe I'm just a "good" guy who is attracted to "bad" girls. But usually in society it's the opposite with good girls being attracted to bad boys and I don't know if it's normal for me to be like this.

      It's always changing and morphing, nothing like late 90's emo scene but yeah, a variation of it is still around

    you can't judge someone's lifestyle especially things like drinking habits based on fashion, it's an outdated and judgemental attitude

    one of the nicest people I've ever met was the woman who did my tattoo, heavily, heavily tattooed, all in black with thick red and black Egyptian eye-shadow and the time flew because she was just so nice to speak to

        No. Punk an alternative, means punk and alternative. Your thinking of the ones that call themselves emo to try and get attention. Most emos aren't like that, they just express emotions in a more extensive fashion than others, both the good and the bad. You could buy a regular person some candy and they'll be like "ya ok cool". Buy an emo person some candy and it'll make their entire day.

    Forgive me; how does being straight intrinsically mean you do not smoke, drink, have tattoos etc.? Pretty sure most people drink, and many smoke. That's akin to saying all homosexual people don't like/participate in sports, or something, purely on the basis that they're homosexual.
