I'm a college professor and married to my wife for almost 10 years, no children, but every day I am seeing young college girls between 18-22 years old, I fantasize about 99% of them, it is really starting to put a strain on my marriage. I know it's wrong but I like to give more attention to the cutest girls in my class and try to help them more, also encourage them to meet me outside of class.

    Sorry. Not normal. These women are much younger than you, and you are seeing them at their best.

    You only see them after hours of beauty prep, and they are at their sharpest in class. You don't see them behaving immature, frustrated, crying, or angry without makeup or in baggy ugly clothes.

    This is pure fantasy my friend, and will lead you down a dark and sticky path. They are not as beautiful, grown up or as intelligent as they seem.

    normal yes, but don't throw away your marriage, if it worked for 10 years, than its a good marriage.

    btw going off of Couman's comment, 99%, what college do you work at? At my college you have to drop your standards by 2 points on the attractiveness scale, there are only a handful of girls at my college that pass a 7 on the typical 1 - 10 scale.

      That might very well be true at universities that are known for their rigorous academic standards and low acceptance rates, such as the Ivy Leagues and other top research institutions, but I work at a state school that, while it is nationally recognized for excellence in academics, research, and athletics, attracts a broad range of students with diverse interests and passions.
