Is it normal for a person in their mid twenties to have a hemorrhoid?

Haven't gone to the doctor yet but I'm pretty positive I have a very painful hemorrhoid on my butt hole :( I've never had serious health issues, my diet isn't the best per say, but I try to eat healthy.

Is this normal? I'm 25 years old

        Thanks, Lostandbroken. This is kinda gross, but I remember being on the phone with one of my best guy friends and asking him questions about a suspicious bump in the backwoods of my nether regions whereupon he replied, "Rose, that's a hemorrhoid." I was shocked and amazed.

          Hehe, that moment of realisation!
          I remember my first one and thinking "can't be - this only happens to other people!" One of the sad realities of being a modern human, I'm afraid.

    You need to see a doctor. He'll probably suggest that you use Preparation H.

    Yes i had hemorrhoids oh i got blood clot from mine
    but with change in diet mine went away, don't get them
    out cause they can come back..drink juices, take peri-colace
    (stool softeners)..drink lots water, i had major swelling down there it burns, itches, you will feel gas bubbles that's from the swelling

    Normal. Hemorrhoids don't discriminate when it comes to age. I had one a decade ago when I was a teen. You should probably see a doctor about that, OP.

      Thanks, I'm going to urgent care tomorrow and see what they say. It's still painful and big. :( butt hurt to the max
