Is it normal for a nursing home to not have air conditioning
I live in wisconsin, so the summers are extremely humid and unbearable. Today the high is 88. When i work as a dietary aid ive noticed there is no a/c in the whole building. I feel like its extremely cruel. I walked by a hallway and saw 3 ppl asleep in their wheelchairs . It just shows that the people living there are so warm they just fall asleep in their wheelchair. Its not fair! They are not there by choice and they have to suffer in that hot smelly building. Its almost like theyre doing it on purpose to get more old people to die so more can come live there. Ive heard theyve gotten lots of complaints but nothing ever changes. Its my day off today and i cant help but think of those poor old people sweating and being even more exhausted cuz of the heay :( is it normal for this to bother me so much? I dont wanna think about it but i cant help it
