Is it normal for a man to cry so easily?
Sad songs, sad movies and even saying goodbye to someone I barely know can make me emotional. My mother once told me that when I was a baby I always cried and nothing she did could stop me from crying.

Men are allowed to be emotional. I'm quite emotional too; not as much as you seem to be, but I cry during emotional moments in films and TV shows. It's perfectly healthy. I don't imagine you're depressed; depression is more usually characterised by a lack of expressed emotion (psychologists call it "flattened affect"). In fact, I think it's a good thing. Strong emotion is only a problem if it leads you to making a lot of decisions you later regret.
There's nothing wrong with being in touch of your emotions. Remember, it is more unhealthy to not express them by pushing them down inside of yourself.
have you always been this way or you've been able to cry easily for eg. the past few months?
I'd guess you are a bit depressed. Depression can make one overly emotional.
