Is it normal for a headache to throb more intensely when vomiting, coughing...?
...laughing, changing from laying to sitting (or sitting to laying), etc?
Rarely this happens when I have an already throbbing headache and it can be very painful.

I would try drinking more water and Gatorade. You could just be dehydrated, because I have the same thing happen when I'm sick and dehydrated, or have a migraine. Maybe talking to a doctor about migraines is a good idea for you. There's so many different kinds of them, you may be a sufferer. They don't have to hurt all the time, sometimes I get them and I see auras and colours that aren't there, and food will taste odd, like blueberries will taste like cheese.
I've experienced this quite a few times. I suggest seeing a neurologist.
Yes, it's to do with activity and blood pressure, as far as I know.
Go get checked, it sounds like migraine. That shit is crippling.
