Is it normal for a guy to rub your belly while he's cuddling you?

I was on a first date with a guy. After dinner we went back to his place to cuddle and watch a movie (he was spooning me). I was feeling a little bit of a tummy ache from eating too much and I kind of groaned a bit.

He asked, "Hey, you okay? What's wrong?". I just said that I have a bit of an upset stomach and feel bloated. He said "Aww" and moved his hand down the side of my torso and started gently rubbing my belly in a clockwise motion over my shirt.

Is this normal or weird?

    I consider that normal. My fav thing is to spoon with my partner and hold a breast while I go to sleep. Some women like it while others not so much.

    I see no issue. If you don't like the feeling or something you can always tell him though. I dated someone who was against having their butt touched EVER. She informed me and we never had an issue
