Is it normal for a girl to get mad over going to the dermatologist alone

This didn't happen but it was part of a discussion. We were just talking about stuff, and this came up. I said I didn't know that couples usually go to doctors appointments together, and she got upset because I said I don't know if I'd go because I didn't know couples actually went to things like that together. And she act like I killed the conversation because I said that, which is retarded because it's not action, just conversation. What's the point of getting mad? If she really wanted me to go, I'd go. But to actually become blown over a talking about it, it's fucking stupid. I don't know everything about relationships, and she knows it. So instead of her making a big deal out of it, she could try to inform me.
