my brother smokes weed with his 6 year old son in the other room and thinks he doesn't affect him. (and his son has asthma) do you think that's ok?
I think as long as the smoke cant get to the child and the child doesnt see its not that big of a deal... people smoke ciggs all day outside near kids and no one bitches at that. if the child isnt getting any sort of contact with the smoke.. who cares. let the guy relax a little. being a parent it stressful! no one would see anything wrong with him having a beer when he got home right in front of his son. at least this is being hidden! and as long as hes still taking care of the kid too.
It's not that big of a deal.. it's not like he's shooting heroine in the back room and not being able to take care of his child. More people smoke weed and function regularly than drink and function regularly. Should parents not be able to drink alcohol anymore too because other people think they’re being selfish and don’t care about their kid? You’re overreacting.. as long as he is a good parent it shouldn’t matter what he’s doing in the other room as long as it’s not putting anyone’s life in danger.
Weed is better than drinking, drinking can kill you and others and makes you sick and stuff plus you can become an addict. (and its leagal) i think weed should be legalized it calms you and makes you think more even. He's fine as long as smoke doesnt reach kid and he takes care of him. Your making a mountain out of a mole hill.

It's a little Early for the little guy to be getting high on second hand smoke, don't you think? Kids that age are still developing and even second hand smoke can result in dramatic effects for his future health. By which I mean bad ones.
With a little luck he is gonna develop a mood disorder before even turning 8.
That is not ok, he has a kid, he should be a bit more responsible around him. Any type of smoke around kids isn't ok, especially one with asthma
unfortunately, I think this is more normal in our society than we know. Is it good? No. Normal? Maybe.
has your nephew's asthma been aggravated at all by any possible smoke reachinf the other room? I would imagine that it's probably just fine, but if there is any doubt, then make sure he leaves a window open while he's smoking.
