Is it normal for a father feel like this toward his daughter?

My daughter (24) was very sick last month when she came to visit us and i had to carry her to the car. When i was carrying her toward the car I really felt uncomfortable holding her in my arms and was hesitating to carry her. Since my wife couldnt so it i had to. But if my son was sick i would do it without hesitating and wouldnt feel uneasy. I dont hate her or anything.
is it normal to feel like this toward your daughter?

    i think its because she's already a grown female adult, so you feel uncomfortable.
