You are sleeping in the couch? Are you serious? You better go back to your bed and send his behind to the couch. You deserve to sleep in a bed, honey.

  • This is awesome that he actually kicked you out of bed to the couch. Good for him.

I said it's normal to not sleep in the same bed, but if it's only when you are mad, it's not normal.
If you normally sleep in the bed, you should always sleep in the bed.

Yes it's normal, if you two are arguing research has shown that sleeping in different beds can actually help the relationship because when you sleep in the same bed, you aren't as likely to get a good nights sleep which contributes to arguing.

You both need to chill out and communicate more, if things get worse see a counselor, don't just leave because things aren't peaches and roses.

I always say that the arguments are what destroy the love between a couple. They always lead to unhappiness and ultimately lead to people finding comfort in other places ie cheating. You need to learn to communicate better so you don't end up fighting all the time. Never let the sun settle on an argument is a good rule. Sort things out before they get to the sleeping on the couch stage.

He's supposed to sleep on the couch, not you... It's the unspoken universal rule of relationships. Women control the bedroom, with or without sex.
