Is it normal for a 22 y.o. guy to go on vacation with his mom ?

I'm 22 and an only son. My mom is the only family I see cause my parents are divorced (my dad and his family live in another country) and she decided to cut ties with her mom and sister for personal reasons.
I study abroad during the school year and come back to see her and our dog for christmas holidays and the summer and we go on vacation together, even though I have the opportunity to go on vacation with friends.
We have a very close relationship cause she raised me alone since I'm 3 but still I feel like I must become a man sometime, on the other side I don't want to leave her cause we only have eachother. So is it normal for me to still go on vacation with her ? I feel kinda concerned by what others may think..

It's fine. She won't be around forever so enjoy the time you have. You're never too old to spend time with your parents.

Nothing wrong with it, I used to do the same thing with my mom. She loved me going, we are very close :)

Are you kidding - a holiday - all expenses paid - that's great. Enjoy it. Mum's are the best.

It's fine, I'm going away with my Mom this October and I'm 22 as well, although my younger brother (18) will be with us too.

If you're living abroad most of the year it's not like you're some "Mommy's boy" who has never left home and is totally dependent on his mother.

We live in a society where men are shamed for giving a shit about their mother. It's so sad.

I wish my mother would have taken me on a holiday.
If you are close with her, you may see her nude and be able to advance your relationship.
