Is it normal find it sad for young people to die of cancer than anything else?
For some reason, when I hear of a young person dying of (non-smoking or unhealthy lifestyle related) cancer, I feel depressed. Personally, I find it sadder for young people to die of cancer than for them to die of an unnatural death (like car crash, murder, assassination, fall, poisoned, etc). The pain or suffering is not an issue, it's just the fact that cancer killed them young that depresses me.
It's always tragic when young people die, but for some reason, I find cancer the most tragic way. Is this normal?
