Why does everyone think that they are retarded, well i hate them too but i think they are normal people with different thinking.

They aren't retarded, they just want to make sure their ability to make and keep money is not hindered by supporting those less fortunate than themselves.
They don't support the arts, or providing a good education for all at a fair price. They want no laws that would protect the environment at the expense of their bottom line.
This in particular confuses me, as their children and grandchildren will have to live in the same polluted mess they leave behind, alongside everybody else, and yet they don't seem to care.
So perhaps you are correct. Only the seriously retarded would soil their own home for a few extra bucks (it's not like they don't already have a thousand times more than they could possibly spend in their lifetimes), leaving the planet a more polluted and unlivable place for their progeny. That really is retarded, isn't it?

I suppose you think the arts should be included in your rant? Culture, heritage and the arts all require some support from the community and the government or else that society is no better than the one ISIS is trying to form in the Middle East.

Let's say after working hard for years, you have a cardiac event and your doctors say you've got to recuperate for 6 months? Six months with no work and your insurance company dumps you, if you even have insurance, which I'm guessing you don't. If the government you've so faithfully paid taxes to (and of course you have paid every cent you should, haven't you?), won't help you, what are you going to do?
Of course, don't forget that there's some assholes out there like you who will call you a worthless, lazy, piece of shit, I bet, seeking free money so you don't have to work.

What is it about the term "personal responsibility" that you fail to grasp? People don't have some moral obligation to help out people less "fortunate" than they are. Life is harsh, life is cruel. That is how it is, pretending it isn't is just that, pretending. When you go around helping out other people you're going to find out that the same people keep coming back for the same free handouts.
Sure you gave a nice wholesome example with the heart attack victim, but lets say perhaps that same heart attack victim smoked a pack of cigarettes every day for 30 yrs straight and ate McDonald's every day while doing NO exercising. It isn't my responsibility to than magically give him or her money to survive. Like I said, life is harsh, life is cruel.
Just like you said it isn't as cut and dry as YOU seem to think. And just because you don't have health insurance AND you didn't save enough money to be comfortably retired doesn't mean it is anyone else's responsibility, government or otherwise, to provide it for you.
