Is it normal don't feel sorry for abusive people?

When someone abuses their child, their lover, their pet, etc I can't feel sorry for them. Other people are like "oh they had a bad childhood" or they were hurt in the same way they're hurting the people they abuse, or some other story. I can't feel sorry for them even if they had it rough. Is it normal?

I agree, however, I do feel sorry for someone if something bad happens to them like that but I don't if theyre dwellinng for 10 years and never move past it. Yes it sucks it happens but you can't live in an excuse forever and need to move on or you're going to be miserable forever. I get impatient as well with this.

  • The one you should feel sorry for is the one being abused, that is until they get older and become abusers themselves.

It's completely normal to feel sorry for them just not to agree with what they do

it's normal. some people have more sympathy thean others. it's either you have never understand their sufferings due to you not being in their situations before or i can say quite heartless/empty.
