I never thought it would happen to me but now it feels like a serious possibility as I approach age 30.

Do some people just never get into a relationship despite always wanting one, and live out there days alone and sad, ending their family genetic line without any offspring ?

    Yes, of course.

    I think it is because even the least 'attractive' (in all senses of the word) people still have standards. I'm sure that you also have known and met people you could never imagine being with, even if they wanted to.
