Is it normal crown is hurting 2/3 years after having it?

I had a root canal done on my first molar about 2-3 years ago. The crown fitted fine and I hardly ever ate on my right side (where the crown is). But now it's hurting all the time. It's like a constant pressure. It's getting so bad that it's making my first and second premolar hurt. I don't have money or insurance right now so I can't go to the dentist but the pain is almost unbearable. I start a job in a few weeks but I don't know how I'll last working 12-15 hour days with a horrible toothache.
So my question is, is it normal for my crown to be hurting after all this time? My gums are swollen around it and I can feel a throbbing pain.
It's also hard to chew food because all my teeth on my right side are taller than the left, so when I try to chew it just makes the crown hurt more.

I had the same problem recently, it sounds like there`s some infection in there, & needs treatment.

Call a dentist and have him write prescription for antibiotics for infection with promise of you coming in 10 days for follow up. He cannot do anything to help you till you take them anyway and after a couple days, pain will lessen

I thought by 'crown' you meant vaginal opening and by 'having it' you meant a baby. Either way, I don't know what to tell you. Sorry.
