Is it normal cops seem to be getting more thuggy?

The Sandra bland thing and the other stuff I have heard from people makes me ponder this.it seems that for the most part the motto is no longer to serve and protect , it is to destroy and intimidate?Also do they really put you in jail for every routine traffic stop in texas? Why was she put in solitary?And I have never heard of them making you get out of the car and stomp out your cigarette during a traffic stop attitude or no attitude.

    Cops have have never really treated me badly, in fact some have been very kind to me. I do, however, treat police officers with respect and kindness myself though. The golden rule goes quite far!

    I think a lot of criminals get what they give. My heart doesn't break for many of them.

      I think that since cops mostly deal with the scum of the earth they are a bit more paranoid than most people. In turn they treat any potential threat as serious... It's a bad cycle which comes back to the fact that there are criminal scumbags:(

            Oh God, yes. On Friday I went out to this place where they had homemade guava flan, but when I ordered it they said they were out or didn't have it at location. Talk about disappointment. I've never had guava flan, I know that's gotta be good!
