Is it normal cheating freakes me out?

Im in a NOT OPEN relationship and cant see each other so often. Im a man and I get horny almost al the time. But the idea of cheating and making my couple feel sad freaks me out. Is it normal to feel that way specially in a gay relationship?

I haven't a clue why it would be different for a gay couple, but I've never been one to risk a good relationship for a bit of strange. Just a bad bet all the way around and a truly foolish thing to do. Fantasize all you want and jack off. Of course, perhaps jacking off is cheating for a gay couple?

I emphasized gay couple because nowadays seems like an open relationship is a standard, at least in the area I live in. As for me, Im more conservative. I dont feel J/O is a way of cheating, and indeed thats my only way to relieve things. Youre right, its not a good idea to risk all good thinks you have for just some filthy pleasure. Thanks for your answer.

Take it from a proud old F** Hag, you my friend, are awesome! Forget the "standard" of where you live.

In the garden of life cheaters are hot steaming piles of dog poo!

I had a friend/roommate who had been dating a guy for years and then he moved about an hour away for work. they remained a couple long distance and saw each other on weekends. My friend was a very sexual person and asked to have an open relationship to satisfy her sexual needs while he's away. they both agreed to it, and it was a MESS.

everyone is different but imo open relationships are hard on everyone, whether they can admit that or not.

    best of luck

Most people don't like the idea of cheating when they're in a monogamous relationship. Basic common knowledge.
