Why are black people obsessed with certain sneakers? I've never seen any other race standing in line for 12 hours to be the first to pay $300 for overpriced shoes. Not that people don't collect weird items but why only blacks with Air Jordan's and such?
That's funny, I googled an image if people waiting in line for Air Jordan shoes and I found this link on ABC news of people of multiple races waiting overnight for them. But I thought you said it was only black people. Weird.

The only reason black people are obsessed with sneakers is because you only hang around black people.
That i've seen some black people are flashy and competitive against each other and hispanic/latinos. They like to use well known brands because they want others to know what they're wearing is worth. They try too hard to fit in.. Sometimes they come across as tacky.
