Is it normal and socially acceptable for people to discriminate blondes?

Ok, so I'm a blond, and I'm sick of the negative attitude and discriminating comments of other people.

It's usually jokes about my intelligence, or a slow wit.
I have an iq of 165, and a degree student, so I'm above average in intelligence; yet people seem to assume that I'm dim on first sight, and even my so-called friends who have known me for almost a decade seem to uphold this opinion.

Maybe it's time for me to stop being walked over, and crack some skulls / argue a point.

Do other blondes/blonds experience this?

Are you an inconsiderate bastard as well?

  • I think the whole thing is aimed towards people who dye their hair bright blonde. I would be lying if I said most people who I have seen with dyed blonde hair are smart.

What ItDuz said. It's an attitude directed toward people who dye their hair blonde.

If you're so smart, why don't you just prove them wrong? If you have a decent vocabulary and can articulate your thoughts well you can make these silly people feel like idiots.
However, you catch more flies with honey. Try cracking jokes in return. You know they're not making fun of you personally; they're just screwing with you because of a dumb stereotype. You both know this. Screw with them in return.

I am blonde too, and I get it. If you’re smarter, people will figure it out, don’t make it a THING.
Yeah, and its the over the counter bottle blonde that everyone is talking about. The really bad orangey blonde, usually accompanied with bad tattoos, bad makeup and an over washed valour tracksuit.

You must be an "airhead." They come in smart packages too. So unassuming and dangerous...use this to your advantage.

I have a problem with the fakeness of bleach blonde hair. Every blonde dyes and bleaches their hair from the time they are in high school.

Now So many women bleach their hair blonde. I have heard 50% of caucasion American women bleach their hair blonde! And many other ethnicities as well. Only 2% are real.

When each of these women dye their hair every month for 70 years of their life, that is a lot of poison in our water, and this is just so men will be attracted to them.

    It is selfish and ditsy.

No wonder cancer is so common.
