Iin2always feel intimidated when you go into a vintage clothes shop?

I hear so much about how awesome vintage clothes shops and vintage shopping are, so I've been in a few in my local town centre just to see what they're like.

From my limited experience, I've seen the odd thing or two that is OK, but I've yet to find anything special and I always feel like I have to know what to go for before I go in. I have absolutely no idea where to start.
I also feel like I'm too big to be in there (I'm a UK size 14-16... not sure about the equivalent in other countries).

I've never been loomed over or forced to buy stuff, but I don't get what people see in it myself.
The closest to vintage I usually go is a charity shop - that way, at least your clothes go to a good cause.

I like vintage styled clothing. When it comes to shopping, I'm more uncomfortable in modern places with modern styles. It's normal.

  • i wear my cloths for a week or 2 don't think i don't shower because i do i just put the same cloths back on because their not dirty yet, i think the more richer people made the prices go up in thos shops so i quit going to them they get all that shit for free so the prices should be low not high $20.00 for a pare of pants & $10.00 or $17.00 for a shirt this is at goodwill if im going to spend that much i mizwell go to wal*mart and get some brand-new pants you know their prices should be lower for the poor people like me and any other poor person. and you mean used
