Is it normal about that duggar girl being in labor 70 hours?

Most woman I know who had complications the dr's didn't let them go like that cuz its dangerous for the mother and baby. Also if you are way past your due date don't they make you induce? My one really stubborn friend was adamant she was going to have the baby natural was made to have one after being in labor for thirty plus hours. My boss who was way over forty wanted to have one at home in her swimming pool, but the midwife said it was too risky. The last I heard of a woman being in labor that long was in the fifties.

when was the last you heard of a woman having 19 kids (or whatever it is now)? unless you're saying one of the daughters is having a baby now(?) but either way, they obviously aren't "conventional"

Both my labors were 28 hours. They could have been longer but the fact they were that long indicat3d that there was somethibg wrong. However the first 12 hours of labor was barely labor as most people who have never experienced it think of it. Like JD777 said, the first phase can be really light and last a long time.

For some reason I always thought you were a guy. Huh. Guess you learn something new every day...

Yep, labor that long happens - but its rare. Often times, the extended part of the labor is in the earlier phases of the first stage where the contractions are lighter and dilation is smaller.
