I have been with my partner for nearing 10 years. He has only ever had one nickname for me but I have had many for him, the latest one being Mogsy Malone. I just love him so much random words come out of my mouth to try and express how much I love him. "I love you" just doesn't cut it. Though I do tell him that too :)

I give only give nicknames to my friends and visa-versa, they give the most stupid, idiotic ones as well, once you answer once to it, its endless!
I give nicknames as a way of reinforcing a private joke. It makes a relationship stronger in my eyes. Friends get them, but lovers? It's into double figures within a month or two.
My girlfriend called my jaylo and I called her spidermonkey..which I never understood because I'm a girl.
I had one for her but I also had a little song I made for her. It was kind of funny because I'd sing it at times when she would say something to kind of trigger the song (doesn't make sense to you but it does to me) and when I wouldn't sing it, she would and it would make me so happy. Just brought a warmth to my heart. I truly miss those times.
