Especially poor people.
Regardless of what country they are born into.
If the virus forces people to stop and think twice before making another person.

Most of the people who will take the time to consider the effects of the virus and choose to hold off on having kids will be the more educated and affluent, aka the people who we need to reproduce.
The poor and uneducated will continue to have more children than they can support and ignore the consequences. They ignored their inability to provide for their children, and other factors so I doubt they will take much head to this.
So the zika virus will most likely only reduce the number of births from the people who should have more kids and will probably have little to no effect on the less educated reproducing.
Funny how sex keeps our species going and also spreads deadly virus to thin out our numbers.
