I wonder if you would act differently if you were the opposite sex. I think I would because I have inside knowledge about the other half. Myboyfriendsbitch says she would have more friends which I wanted to ask her about but the story was not approved. I have heard some men say they would have sex all the time if they were female cause it's so easy to get. What do others think?

    It's a very good question. I think if I had been born female, I'd still be a virgin because while I'm allowed to freely state my opinions as a man, if I did the same thing as a woman, people would think I was opinionated and a ball-breaker. Men still have a problem with strong women. Hillary Clinton, for instance, has some really amazing qualities but how many men see her as attractive? As opposed to, say, a person with such an obsessional need to be loved that they have a TV show portraying themself as a little waif who falls apart at the smallest thing.

      Geez that's depressing, Dappled. It's not THAT bad to be a woman at all! I'm outspoken, opinionated, forward, bold & blunt, but I have had plenty of people interested over the years. Many more than I have actually taken up on the offer. I'm not saying this to brag, but I mean... to be honest, thinking that men ONLY want weak-willed, quiet women is pretty misogynistic. I hope it doesn't feel like an attack when I say that, but really the world is far less bleak. There are a myriad different kinds of men (and women) who find women who freely state their opinions quite attractive and interesting.

        Ahh no, of course not, but it does seem harder for women to be taken seriously. I mean, even in today's supposedly enlightened society, how many female philosophers can any of us name?

          Interesting side note, I just asked my roommates and they came up with Nancy Cartwright, Judy Butler, and Ayn Rand. I was impressed! (even though they're all much more modern)

            I'm impressed too, actually. And I have to confess that I thought Nancy Cartwright was the voice of Bart Simpson. I did know who Judith Butler and Ayn Rand were, though, and they probably should have sprang to mind when I asked the question.

    More than likely you would act different. If I was a girl, with no prior knowledge of being a male as I am currently, I probably would not be all slutty. If I change into a female and know that I have transformed, I would be a lesbian. Letting a guy have sex with me would be completely gay, and I would not approve of the act.

    If I were a boy I'd be a total twink, I think. Shaved legs, chibi haircut, eyeliner... I'd really enjoy getting to play online games without the excessive sexism and perving that happens, heh. I'd probably also like to be more bold with physical activities, since guys have that whole testosterone / muscle synergy. Behaviorally I'd still be gregarious and out there, perhaps even more so.

    I wouldn't like to be the opposite sex at all.
    But if there was no choice in the matter, then I suppose nothing would really change. I'd still be into guys and fashion and still be into weightlifting and fitness. The latter would be a little more difficult though...

    Of course. Without having been inside the mind of a woman, I can't say for sure how I'd act.

    But society treats men and women differently therefore on that basis alone I'd act differently.

    If I was lucky enough to suddenly become female.... Couple of weeks tops, ( either side of the bleeding part would be good.)
    I don't think I would go out having sex with guys at all. I would have far more respect for my body than that!

    Just what would I do you ask?

    Put it this way there would be lots of jilling followed by finding out just what can fit in there.... I'd be walking like a cowboy the whole time, I'd even make a doco on it titled. " Can that typewriter go in there?"

    Yes and no.... I consider myself very masculine (Although it's blatantly obvious I am biologically - if in no other way - female if you meet me IRL), but I also have some stereotypically girly traits.

    I just think that I might end up being more aggressive and having to hide my appreciation for cosmetics, fashion and beauty treatments ..... :|.

    What I would REALLY love is to be able to switch gender idenity and biology at will.

    Yes, I'm sure I would, because the sexes are different. If I were a woman, I'd have a woman's body, but also a woman's brain. I have no idea what that'd actually be like, though.
