Meaning that if you were the last male or female, would you do everything in your power to keep the human race alive by procreating or would you refuse and let humans go extinct?

Yes, but they'd be half siblings so that would make it only half bad. I mean, the last of your gender means there are multiple of the other gender left.
In my case, I'd be the only woman but there'd be multiple men left. No more than one child per father, that would be my rule!

Well I'd do it (it'd have to be Artificial Insemination though) but then again it's kind of pointless, there wouldn't be enough genetic diversity to keep the line going.
It depends on who the guys were. There would be no use trying to save the race with Hitler 2.0 or Dahmer 2.0 and have some f@cked up children just to save humanity. That would be oxymoronic. Fire and brimstone, baby. I accept Jesus as my savior and I ain't neva scared(in my lil john voice).
I have the feeling that this planet would be a lot nicer place w/o humans.
Anyway, repopulating it with my progeny would certainly be doing it a disservice; I'm an asshole. However if Kristin Bell was the last female, I'd have a ton of fun trying, only making sure she didn't get preggers.
I would try to save mankind and form a new world. But first I'd take it slow and do whatever I want in an emty world. Drive a stealth bomber, drift a tank, drive a Nimitz class aircraft carrier, go to the whitehouse and tap dance on the president's table, visit secret military bases all over the world, visit monuments all over the world, take cars from dealerships and drive them for fun, crash an expensive car for fun, blow up a building for fun and then drive a firetruck to extinguish the flames, act out a bank robbery, go in hollywood homes, visit hollywood for free, visit the most expensive places for free... A ton of things. Man I'd kill to be in this scenario! XD
After having a lot of fun and exploring a lot of things, I will start repopulating the world and create new rules, new standards etc.
I'd pick my dream house somewhere on the coast (Maybe southern France, or Spain). I'd get several yachts. My dream yacht, a few others. I'd fill a few garages with my dream cars and run the city I am living in.
