Why isn't "accept it" an option? Others have mentioned it. Why do people try so hard to change the outcome of their life rather than accepting it as is?
I would accept being childless as my destiny; God's will for my life. Besides I don't think I want the responsibility. Not having kids isn't the end of the world.
See, that's completely fine but I'd want kiddos. I have a thing for playing catch with someone, flying kites, teaching them how to walk.. I just need it but I get how some people don't desire it as much. :P
What you've described about children is kinda how I feel about dogs and cats. I have an awesome Siamese cat, but honestly my heart aches for a canine companion. My emotions run quite deep regarding Shetland sheepdogs!
Also, I find the idea of pregnancy and childbirth to be really scary. I've thought childbirth was scary all my life, since my mom came out of the Rosewood General Hospital in Houston, Texas in a wheelchair with my newborn sister when I was three years old.
It`s so sad for me when some of the posters make so light of this subject.
I found out in a most horrible way i would never be a father. In the end it cost me my marriage , my self esteem and since then i don`t even feel like a man...
I think I'd want biological over adopted but I'd probably do first biological and second one adopted. Sounds good, yeah?
Why "Accept it" when you can have a child nonetheless?
That's like, having the possibility to ride down an empty highway but choosing to drive down a crummy crowded road with shitty view instead, because of the wind blowing in that direction.
