If you were in my situation, what would you do?

Let's say you lived in a state or country for the majority of your life but most of your family is in another state/country (But you're really only close to your immediate family). Anyway, you move to the said place with your parents to be with the rest of your relatives but, you leave your closest friends that you've known since elementary school behind. If you were me, would you stay with your relatives or would you go back to your native state/country to be with your friends?

I'd stay with my relatives 7
I'd go back to my homestate or country 22
Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

I guess it depends how old you are? Do you have a choice? I would be happier in a place where all of my friends are! But it is also really great to see what other people are like & find new friends! I would probably wait a year to decide if you like it in the new place, if of course you have that option.

There are a few factors to consider like if you are able to support yourself if you went back? How your family immediate and otherwise, may take the news? Have you given the new place a real chance, tried to make friends actively engaged with the community etc.
I only ask as I've moved recently myself, admittedly for work so it's not entirely the same situation but I really miss old friends, hangouts but just the place in general etc and I want to go back but know I'll be making more of my life by staying a while longer and doing what I need to do in order to have a better life when I do go back which I plan on doing in the future. It will always be there as will your friends etc. god willing but equally if you do feel you've given it enough time then going home might be better for you.
