Let's say you're just walking along to somewhere and you pass a girl who is about 15 pounds overweight. I know you probably won't actually stop and think about it, but choose one.

I wouldn't know if they were overweight, I'd have to weigh them and know their BMI.
well if she is like 500 pounds i would not give fuck bout the 15 pounds.
I think to myself "I should really go over there and call her some names and berate her for a couple of minutes to bring some attention to the problem. Maybe that would stop her from getting any fatter and possibly save her life."

I do not know what in the fuck is going on here. For your Country, 15lbs over weight is considered thin. And to me I would not deliberatly walk over to that person and make fun of him or her, that would bruise their feelings and in a lot of cases cause them to eat more. I should know, I am speaking from experience, when I was a kid up to the age of 33, I was fat and when I was made fun of it I ate more, at one time I was 300, now I am 124. The thing that got me to loose weight was when I was my fattest; {age 25}; I met the nicest guy ever, he met me at work, got to know me and love me as a person, after we were wedded for 2 years and I knew it was forever, that was when I lost the excess baggage, so do not ever insult some one for weight reasons. Some of you out there may not have a weight problem, but may have a different default, and how would you feel if some one made fun of you for your default? Think about it.

why should it bother me? I'm not so emotionally insecure and scrutinizing other people's figures to make me feel better about my own. Besides it depends what that weight is made of. For all you know she could have some disease that prevents her from losing weight (I think they exist). And seriously, why would people bother calling her a fat cow and such, It's 15 pounds not 15 stone!.
I don't think much about it, its annoying when people around me have to make fun of them. It may not be completely their fault such as genes or having a slow metabolism.
There is a person over there, I should probably not walk into them, and carry on.
If she would obey always and do all needed to please and worked and brought an income into the shanty I may allow the wench to dwell with and serve me.

we'll it would depend on what you think is a normal weight for your body. Say if you're normal body weight is 120lbs and you're 135lbs. Most people wont think 135lbs on a person is big. But say you're normally 150lbs and you become 165lbs people might start noticing. It all depends.
well, technically i'm "overweight". but the thing is, the weight is all in my boobs and my ass. technically, everyone is supposed to be like a size small and like a b cup, if you're going by the BMI's standards of healthy. but I usually wear a medium and I'm like a DD-DDD cup, and I've got fuller thighs, so you know what? they can SUCK IT (:
I would notice and I'd probably judge them a bit.. but only because I'm 80 pounds overweight and dieting like crazy to get rid of it. (have already lost 40 pounds) It's just a way of trying to deal with your own situation.
It's essential for every person to take good care of him/herself. I I see a chubby person, I'm not going to be judgmental, but I would like the person to take good care of herself.
It depends where oversize starts. I'm 160 lbs but honestly, I don't look like it. I look ok, but in the model industry for exemple, Id be a whale.
I'd like you only have a little to lose so why not. Also it depends on what you consider overweight. Are you going by BMI or height to weight ratio?
But in the end if you are happy with your weight than why care? If you do care, it is something that can be changed.
