If you love someone, is the person ever truly apart from you?

This is a serious question. I'm asking because I moved from my home state a couple of years ago and I left my best friend (who I loved as how you would love a friend). I'm wondering: If you love someone, is the person still with you regardless of the physical distance between the both of you? I want to know because I want to reassure myself that my friend and I will always be together and that I shouldn't be sad.

I don't know, I suppose so. On a different note I lost a friend to a freak accident and he played in a band, I still listen to his music and it always feels like he's sitting right next to me.

Tell that to a couple in a long-term long-distance relationship who have never met in the flesh. It's heart breaking.

  • This is a gay sex question. I'm asking because I moved from my home state a couple of years ago and I fucked my best friend (who I fucked as how you would fuck a friend). I'm wondering: If you fuck someone, is the semen still in you regardless of the physical distance between the both of you? I want to know because I want to jerk myself so that my friend and I will always be jizzing and that I shouldn't be flacid.

Yes, if you were really good friends and close to each other, you can spend months even years apart and when you get together or see each other again, it will be like you've never been apart in the first place.
Conversation will flow naturally and you will feel the connection, so don't worry about it :)

    Yes.
I had a friend that I loved in not a friendly, or sexual manner. It was different. I called her my soulmate. So, my soulmate and I don't talk at all because we don't have the time. I don't even have her number. Despite that, she loves, and remembers me, and I do too. <3
I miss talking to her, but she's always in my heart. That makes up for it.

Yes, you have the memories of them, and if you are still friends, the knowledge that they care about you.
