What country are you from? I dont think I would want to eat anything I own as a pet. Its just bad karma. If I do that it means my pet will die horribly.

I don't even eat meat but I could never eat a dog. It's almost like cannibalism for me haha!

I would go for a little bit of both to be honest because yum! I sometimes even call the numbers on those lost pet flyers and tell them that their animal was delicious.

I'm quite sure I eaten both from street venders around the world, but I would never ask.
In Bali, the proprietor of a small local establishment was trying to explain what the delicious soup we were eating was, but we just did not understand. It became clear when we spooned up little black hands, fingernails and all; monkey soup, yum, yum.

Well, I do think cats are cleaner, (not to mention cuter, friendlier, more playful...) But, I could never eat one! So, I'd have to go with dog. *shudders* Eeewww!

I wouldn't be comfortable with it if I was aware, but I think dog would probably have better tasting meat...
