If you get remarried, should you keep the same date?

If a couple renews their vows, gets "remarried" in front of friends and family, and the like...do you think they should keep the date the same as their original date or is it appropriate to have the new wedding on any day you want? I'm talking about a big wedding and celebration, not just a whim in Vegas or something!

  • Same date. As you get old and feeble it's too hard to remember dates.

  • If you don't wanna worry about too many dates, keep it the same.

If you're feelin' spontaneous, go for another day.

Think it's symbolic? Keep the original date.

Never been married, so I'll leave it up to the couple specifically what they wanna do. ;]

Same date. Even if you're marrying someone new. Saves you having to remember too many dates ;o)

    • No, no...I mean couples that are renewing vows, not a new marriage to someone else. If that was the case, of course you'd change the date.
