Be honest now. If someone dropped a random $100 bill on the sidewalk, would you take it?

Did I see them drop it? If I knew who dropped Id give it to them, Im a poor man and Id hate to lose a whole $100, if I just found it on the ground that shits mine though.
that's exactly how i would do it. my sister once found $120 on the floor at aldis. she and my parents kept on the lookout for anyone who might have dropped it, but noone was looking for any money. we thought about turning it to the store, but we decided not to cause the clerk would just pocket it.
Just the other day I found a dollar on the ground and was all like NOOO WAYYY! This shit never happens to me! Now with one hundred of them I would probably shit myself then have a heart attack... or vice versa.
Dah.....why not. If I don't then someone else that didn't lose it would pick it up.
If I saw them drop it I would tell them. If no one was around then .. Well hello there :P
Obviously. It would be a choice between being $100 richer and having to go into all the trouble to track down the person who dropped it. I'll take the money any day.
If you find money on the ground and keep it that actually counts as theft, that makes us all bad ass Gangsters.
Well, seeing as I'm living by every dollar, that extra dollar would let me get groceries or something..
What are you supposed to do? Just leave it there?
You don't know who dropped it, would someone really go to a police station just to report that someone lost $100?
I'm sure one of the police officers would end up just pocketing it instead.

Now if it's a wallet, I'd return it, cause there is ID in a wallet, but just money. Can't identify that, so take it.
Now if I found a wallet with identification details with money in it, I would try and contact the person, I would want the same. But just a random 'Bill' I would take it.
$100 poses no real moral dilemma. What about if there was $100,000 you found on the sidewalk with no one around?
I'd hold on to it for a bit to see if someone was coming back for it. Unless I was just too busy, then I'd take it.
