Sounds like a wishy washy way to attempt to avoid responsibility that will most likely lead to failure. The most opportune thing you'll get is some loosely defined scenario that you'll have no choice but to accept.
Say you start drawing a picture, but you haven't decided what you're going to draw. What do you end up with? Something abstract? Something that makes no sense? Maybe you come to make sense of it near completion. It could be a dog, a cat, an image of heaven or hell, a naked man or it could never manifest into anything more than chaotic scribbles. Would you be content with and willing to accept any of these outcomes?
You have the power to create your reality with the decisions you make and that is a gift. At some point you will have to decide who you want in your life and where you want to live. Without choice you could be stuck with the wrong people in the wrong place at the wrong time. Or you could get lucky, but that's quite the risk to take for such a small chance.

Not making a decision makes everything impossible.
It seems I've lived my life for much too long, having everyone else making my decisions for me. How can you be your own person? I'm tired of just agreeing and complying with what everyone else wants, and after so long, it seems impossible to change.

Like others said, not choosing leads to failure because if you do not choose, reality will choose for you and it will often be the worst choice. Also people who cannot make up their mind are extremely irritating to do anything with.
The only failure is to not try.
No, I really don't agree with the whole " you can do anything " mentality its unhealthy and unrealistic, not everything is possible, millions of people never get their dream job or spend their whole life looking forward to a pipe dream, millions of people don't get to be with who they think they belong with, not everything is achievable
If everyone was able to reach whatever goals they wished society would break down, no one would do the dirty jobs that needed doing
I disagree with this... anything is possible.
You might not get your dream job...but you make it into a hobby. Example your dream job would be to review book in a magazine. Maybe you never make it to that magazine company ... however you instead open a blog and facebook and dedicate it to books and book reviews...you get people reading you stuff... maybe you dont get paid for it and you work some other job....but in a way you accomplished your dream.
there is more then one way to make an egg... there is more then one way to accomplish a dream.
The mentality you can do nothing...or you cant do most things would I think be far more unhealthy and detrimental to sociaty.
Maybe im just too much of an optimist.
but anything I have decided im interested in ...including learning new skills...when I have set out to accomplish them I always have. Maybe its because I think...yeah I can do that!
