It's this whole Ebola thing that makes me think this way. I'm not racist, just practical. I got no problem with American black people. Never have. But is it normal for any American to hate Africans now? Not their fault, this Ebola thing. But I think they must be kept away from the white race for at least twenty or so years. Seems to me that would solve the problem.

        Ebola is man made, I mean it did just randomly pop out of no where, and it's only so you can get medications and other stuff. Thats what I believe

          EHV is one of many viruses in the family. It is not unique.

          Wherever it came from, that is moot. Fyi, Ebola is present in all bodily secretions, from semen to nasopharyngeal linings. In other words, you can get EHV from a sneeze. Thankfully, people are very symptomatic by this point, however the CDC presently fears EHV can be spread "Like the flu".

          It didn't just pop out of nowhere. Education is your key to combating the seemingly contagious level of stupidity that is sweeping the world.

    Travel bans aren't going to save us from ebola it will just give us a better chance of losing the control we have over the spread of the virus. We know which countries have the virus, as long as we can control that and screen people coming in from those countries for the virus we'll be able to prevent further spread. There needs to be more being done in those countries more aid to help the families and patients being affected.

    It has nothing to do with black or white, viruses aren't racist, people are.

I'm a white person living in SA and as far as we're concerned ebola might aswell be happening in another country because we're not the ones eating uncooked bats and primates and living in eachother's shit.     1. The people of African descent you meet are most likely born right where you are. If not, it is highly unlikely they entered the country in the last 21 days.
    2. There is a mandatory, monitored quarantine period which exceeds the incubation period. In other words, you can not be exposed unless you go and visit the person.
    3. You can catch Ebola just as easily from a Caucasian as an African.

    Here's an Idea. Obama should order about three hundred Apache helicopters to fly over all the heavily populated African terrain and machine gun everything that moves: men, women, children, animals. A couple of weeks of this and there won't be anything living on the African continent. Seems to me that's the solution that would satisfy the likes of you, asshole.

    That's kind of judgmental, since most Africa countries aren't even infected, but fear does make people do/think crazy things. We live in a scary world and unfortunately more and more of these incidents will make us jump to radical conclusions and prejudices. That being said, look at a map of the Black Death around 1348 and how it moved through Europe...look at Milan: I think we can learn a lot from them, to be honest.
