Honestly, I am a female and I love sex. I love the sensation of penis in my vagina. It feels so good, and yes, it makes me orgasm very much too.

Yet for some reason many sources say that females orgasming during sex is... Rare?

Many other females say they love sex too and that it feels good, so I don't understand that why would it be rare for us to actually orgasm during sex.

Is it really true that it's rare for females to orgasm during sex, or is this just some inaccurate pop science stuff?

    It is rare for women to orgasm from purely penetration, the vaginal orgasm it’s pretty hard to achieve. The clitoral orgasm, however, is much easier to achieve since that’s where most of our nerve endings are. You can still enjoy sex without an orgasm since there’s still stimulation, it just has kind of an underwhelming end lol.

    I've made my girlfriend orgasm during sex a few times, but before that there was a lot of foreplay and warming her up.

    There are poses that stimulate the clitoris better during sex. Extreme arousal, good pose, her moving her hips back and forth for extra stimulation and her touching herself and keeping a tiny bit of pressure down there while doing it gets her over the edge. This doesn't always work, but when it does - the climax is absolutely amazing and definitely worth it.

    With that said, why are women this way? Why must everything be complicated? WARNING, humorous rant ahead...

      Or you just get lucky and she cums easy.

      My time to orgasm is largely based on my frame of mind. If I really want to go i can do a 10 minute rush that ends with me panting like i ran a marathon afterwards. Or I could be leisure and do it over the course of a few hours.

    I generally require him to give me several orgasms before I let him have sex with me. I also quite often tell him after he has satisfied me that sex is not happening this time, no harm in making sure he’s the one who doesn’t get to orgasm. If I do let him have sex I can consider it a bonus if I get to cum again.

    there are some females that orgasms quite easy just from penetration. Many of my gfs had orgasms from penetration. But there are many even if you plough her for 20 mins will not just orgasms. What i do is after i finish touch her with the vibrator and make her cum.

        Yes i cum before some women cum, these are women who just find it really hard to cum with intercourse. Also, only a fool would believe you are man enough to fuck all women in the world long or hard enough to make them orgasm just by intercourse.
