If they believe it, they ought to prove it!

Supposedly shaving doesn't cause hair to grow back thicker or darker but I bet any woman who says that won't shave her moustache to prove it!

    Whist shaving doesn't actually make hair grow back thicker, it does make hair look thicker. Hair that grows from the root has a tapered edge, and is more slender at the tip. When you shave, you cut the hair at it's thickest point, giving it a blunt edge and making it appear thicker.

    I do shave my moustache occasionally but more often cut the hairs back to the base with sharp nail scissors.

    Have at think about it: how could cutting or shaving hair create more hair follicles to result in thicker hair? CountessDouche is 100% correct
