If sleep with means sex,then what do you call cuddling until you're asleep?

I'm a lonely guy, but really shy. And I want to wait until marriage for sex, I know it sounds weird these days but I'm a little bit traditional. But I feel I really need some... intimacy. I don't know how to put it in words.

Anyway, if people think of sex when they hear "sleep with" then how do you literally say "sleep with" as in cuddling until you fall asleep together?

    We laid in bed and hugged and talked until we fell asleep.

    I slept with my best friend for years. No sex but plenty of intimate/comfortable cuddling. Especially during those cold month's....
