If isis/isil survives will the world have to recognize them

More specifically say 100 years from now the Islamic State is still kicking and they have held their current boarders with Raqqa or Mosul as their capital and they're no longer conducting a war of aggression, killing hostages and conducting terrorism, would the world recognize the Islamic State?

This is a hypothetical, I'm aware of the fact ISIS will almost certainly collapse

I don't recall them burning anyone alive in a cage because of religious differences or beheading innocent people. Somehow I think they crossed an imaginary line that people just won't tolerate, let alone accept.

The world defeated Nazi Germany withinjust a few years, and that was the most organized sophisticated killing machine ever created in human history. ISIS is a bunch of criminal morons running around the desert. Even their resources, vehicles, etc will begin to break down soon without outside help. These guys are cowardly assholes and they will be gone soon enough. The only thing keeping them afloat right now is Obamas complete incompetency as commander in chief

I don't know how true that really is. I've heard they've taken over the infrastructure in the areas they control, and keep operating it as a de facto government. Water supply, schools, courts, etc. You might think they would just smash and burn everything, barbarians that they are, but it appears that despite their brutal methods they're serious about wanting to be a state.

In short, they're crazy, not stupid.

ISIS is pure scum, the worst humanity has to offer, but I'd say their fighters are probably braver than most. ISIS has thrived because of luck and esprite de corps among their fighting men. Neither can last forever.

Arafat was welcomed at the White House and he was one of the worst terrorist leaders in history. Much worse than Bin Laden in total body count. So I'd say, unfortunately yes. Better to exterminate the lot of them now, than welcome them some day in the future.

ISIL/ISIS is just a scourge, a plague of bacteria, that needs to be eradicated from this planet.

There's a whole bunch of militant goups like them, they're just better at getting attention - That's why I don't think they'll really matter that much.
    However:
Most states were founded through unspeakable acts of violence and injustice. Then, once the war generation has died off and people get comfortable, they change the old stories to make them sound heroic.
