It's not my place to judge.
I personally would never want an abortion, but I don't think that my morals should be placed on someone else, in this situation.
For me, the tipping point would be any deformities or disabilities that would only lead to a short, painful life. I'm not talking something like Down's I'm talking the sort of awful life a child of someone my grandmother knew who was born unable to function in any way, and was constantly in pain. I forget how long they kept this poor child alive, prolonging his misery.
If I'm honest, I dont know that I'm protecting myself or the child from the reality of that, but it's my line.
I don't think having a line means you're a bad person. It means you understand your own capabilities and the huge responsibility of bringing a child you aren't ready for/don't want into what could be a miserable existence for you both.
In this situation you're placing your comfort above a child's life. Which is selfish. Lots of people are selfish, the vast majority of us I dare say.
