If i sleep more than 6 hrs, im extremely tired?

If i sleep in for more than 6 hrs, then I wake up extremely tired and groggy, I have trouble thinking clearly, and well, I feel like sleeping in more. Im usually at my best when I get three to six hrs sleep, and sometime less, as long as I dont go for more than three days on less than 3 hrs (a day) sleep. is it normal to feel extremely tired after a long sleep?

    I'm best with 4-5 hours of sleep.

    I get that too. Couldn't tell you why exactly it happens, but it must have something to do with getting so much rest that you become accustomed to it and your body isn't ready to wake up? Who knows, but I think that the 8-hour rule is pretty stupid. The ideal amount of sleep changes from person to person, in my opinion.

    I read that sleep should come in blocks of 3-4 hours (depending on the individual). So four hours is fine, as is eight, but six hours is bad because you're waking up at the wrong point of the cycle.
