Just because a woman fits the stereo type as a "bitch", it's never a good thing for a male to call her that. There are a billion other adjectives that would sting just as much. The word Bitch is just degrading and unnecessary.
A girl may be rude or even down right evil, that's when you go personal. Never Bitch. It's just not right.
do you have to see/talk with her on a daily basis? If its someone you almost never see then no definitely not, but if they're in your life (good or bad) then you probably should apologize just in case

too many girls walk around invincible. good if you bring them down a peg. As a guy, I wouldn't hit a girl, but when a girl does a wrong to me, I am seen as wrong for doing something to get even. Well if she is acting like one I can see why you called her one. However we only have your word for it and cant determine on what she said and if it was unreasonable or not. Sometimes people are not trying to be rude or cruel but other might take it that way. So perhaps she meant something else and you took it the wrong way. Since we do not have what she said we are lead to assume that she is in fact like you say "A bitch" and calling someone one who is acting like one seems logical.
