If everyone in the world was the same color and had the same mind set

If everyone was the same would people still fight? We fight over things like how rich a person is, what race they are, what gender, religion(Non religion). What is we had the same skin tone, same height, same gender, same spiritual belief, wore the same clothe, same sexuality, with the same amount of wealth would we fight? Granted their is probobly no change of anything like this ever happening but still. In this scenario would people still fight?

Yes no matter how similar people like segregation 72
No it would fix everything they have nothing to fight about 11

WORST IDEA EVER. People will always fight over trivial shit no matter what.

    • Yeah I just thought about it and if you put two of me in a room one would try to kill the other. And being exactly the same, even, there'd be quite an unpleasant fight. They would both see each other as dispensible because they're exactly the same. So if all people were the same then they'd all see each other as unimportant copies, totally replaceable, and become homicidal people thingys. Because with no way of distinguishing one person from another, we'd lose all identity, something that helps us regard other people as people.

      WORST IDEA EVER, seconded.

Right?! There might be wars over that kind of crap if this was the case. Who knows....

this. If there wasn't colors, and even way back when with people of same color, they'd still manage to enslave their own race, create a financial hierarchy, and segregate accordingly.

Man is powered by greed and self interest, color doesn't matter, and was just an excuse to segregate a certain people. If there wasn't color, then they'd just find another reason.

Identical twins fight sometimes, don't they? Even though they have the same genetics and the same upbringing. That's just a thought.

Even if everyone had the same amount of money, same lifestyle, same quality of life in every imaginable way and looked the same, people will always be jealous because of something like love or sex or friendship, and that jealousy will always cause conflict. The only way to stop jealousy is to take away our biological drives for stuff, and if we did that we'd probably all die.

People seem to need to form associations based on trivial things and also exclude others based on trivial things. If you take away one triviality, they'll look for the next one. Even if everyone was entirely identical, their experiences would be different and people would then pick on what country they went to on holiday. Actually, people already do that anyway.

Oh what a boring world we build when we design it to be the same as us.

I do feel that if you removed religion from the equation then the general situation would improve, sorry. It's the root of a lot of fighting. "No! Do what my imaginary man in the sky says." "No! Do what mine says." To put it simply (very simply).

I can't answer. The question doesn't specify what the clones are like. And I mean personality.

A possible scenario that could come out of everyone being identical is that some realize how uniform and "boring" they are and then they try to use ways to make them stand out from others. Rebellion at its finest.

Even though there are no legal clones of humans I know of and all humans are different from others, I think people still feel that way in this world.

People will still fight. They'll have nothing better to do because the world will be sooo boring

  • I would hate to live in a world where everyone is the same. It would be very boring.

If you look at genetics and at sociological factors, you'll see that your question is impossible to answer, because humanity did not develop in that manner. We developed in small family groups and tribes through most of our history. Even in the absence of differences, we make up fake differences-- allegiances to different sports teams, cliques in school, etc. it's the way we're wired due to what worked for us in the past.
Example: you see a guy walk by who has bright pink hair, and is wearing a hockey mask and a bright orange tutu. What's the first thing you tell your friends about when you see them? That guy. Why? Because he was different, and in our past, and even in the present to a degree, it is a good survival strategy to alert your group to a possible interloper or threat.

    • I would say I like his hair. It may just be im weird though. Diversity is important. Most people do not realize that. We need diversity so we could all give a different side of the story.

However people tend to often tilt to either the left or the right. Being too left means the ball falls off the left edge and being too right means it will fall off the right edge.

Since no one is willing to meet in the middle all systems ultimately fail. If you have nothing but a bunch of smart nerds with bad eye site we are going to have nothing but blind geniuses. See not very ideal.

If we have nothing but a bunch of jock morons we have a strong people but they are ultimately stupid. If we mix a strong jock and an intelligent nerd with poor eye site there is a chance one of those children will have good eye site and be intelligent or a intelligent, strong and good eye site child. The world is shades of gray but people insist on making it black and white. Its not black and white.

Sorry for the stereotypes it seemed like a simple way to put it. I know these are not really true.

Yes it's animal nature to fight and segregate.

I worked at a farm a few years ago and the goats there were all white except one which was black. The white goats used to pick on, bully and attack the black goat. Not because they were TAUGHT racism but because he was different to them. It is animal instinct to hate those who are different to your group. As is the case with humans. Tolerance can be taught but racism is not taught, it is an inherent part of human nature.

    • I was always tolerant. Despite the fact none were tolerant of the fact I did not fit the standard. I was never taught that.
