The US is headed down a slippery slope towards totalitarianism. Civil rights are diminishing and government control of the populace is increasing, daily.
It will shortly become a nation of extreme violence as the government seeks to take our guns and freedoms and direct our lives so the rich can get richer at the expense of the populace.

I already live there and I dislike it. I'm surrounded by homophobic, uneducated, ultra-conservative, people. They hate anyone that isn't like them.

Hmm... that's largely what puts me off. Of course not saying most are like that, but too many are!

I would LOVE to visit the United States of America visit the natural wonders of your great country as I'm not too fond of the tourist trotted routes. Living there is another question as I'm at the moment living a fairly decent life here in little New Zealand.

No, my country is a quiet country where less than 0.002% of the population have a gun and we rarely have murder here. We can go out leaving the doors open and we fear no thieves. I would change that for nothing. I would like to visit the USA though.

I love it but I doubt that foreigners would like to live here. It's Rodrigues.

It's not your fault :) Nobody knows Rodrigues. It's in the Indian Ocean.

Yes I wish I could create a startup there. Europe has an anti-entrepreneur mentality and can only think of new taxes to save it's tanking economy.

  • I made that choice a few years back. I moved to the United States permanently. And i can say it was the worst decision i ever made. The "freedom" that this country is supposed to promote is nothing like what i've seen on TV

Why would I want to live in America if my own country (the Netherlands) is so much better. Recently someone told me wealthfare in the US is on the same level as it is in Eastern European countries like Romania and Bulgaria, and those are not the countries you want to live in.

I have lived here for all of my life but I haven't enjoyed the experienced. It would be nice to leave and never have to come back.

I love in Germany and I'm pretty much satisfied here eben though I'd like to spent some longer time period in the U.S. since I enjoy being there on vacation...

I'd like to live there for a few years then come home. Somewhere like Minneapolis would be nice.

I live here but I wish to move elsewhere when its convenient. Seems like there are almost no more morals or values anymore, no respect for traditions or other cultures or nature, and pop culture seems to mostly cater to the unintelligent and immature. There is much violence and we are under a very very corrupt government intended on brainwashing its citizens in multiple ways including sexual desensitizing and slowly taking away the rights of its citizens.

I've never been, so I have no idea whether it'd be the kind of place I'd want to settle down in. I can't base my opinion solely on the media.

Also I don't really know what the US offers me that I can't get in my current country (UK). If I was moving abroad it'd be for something better.

So it's a "I have insufficient knowledge to say yes or no". Boring I know.

I would love to know why you ask the question. Could you kindly explain?

Maybe one day, but if the offer came now I'd have to decline it. I have a good quality of life where I am right now and I don't feel the urge to trade it.
