If an abnormality is common, do you label it as normal?

Just curious to know how people think about and answer stuff on here

Basically, if you came across a thread on here that reflected something non-normal, but it was very common and perhaps had been for years, would you vote, "YES it is normal" or "NO it isn't normal"

Yes 9
No 10

I consider normal to be directly based upon commonality.

As one definition puts it - "Normal: Conforming to a standard; usual, typical, or expected"

'Normal' to me has little to do with moral, ethical or social acceptability.

Something can be normal but not 'right', and something can be abnormal but not 'wrong'.

To me normal is the way its suppose to be, not what is common. So I would still put no and explain my answer.

If "common" is not the definition of "normal" then what in the fuck could it be? God tells us this shit or something? You DOOFUS!

I balance my votes based on how many people I think share the opinion of the poster. Unless it's some kind of physical thing, then I vote based on how many people I think have that thing.

If I find something that I wouldn't personally consider normal, but I know is very common, I would have to just vote normal and then type in the comments why I'm a hater.

Normal is what is common and generally accepted. If the "stuff" is common but not generally accepted I would say that it is not normal.
