If a guy stares at you but is not interested?

He could be shy to call!

maybe he's staring because he suspects you stole his flip flops.

He might suffer from confidence issues. Speaking as someone familiar with that situation, it might be that he feels shy or afraid to call you because he's nervous that you won't like him when you get to know him.

It's also possible that he doesn't think he's good enough for you and isn't prepared to take the risk. If it were me in his situation I would like to get some reassuring hint that you're still willing to pursue things with him.

It might also depend on how outgoing or sexually active you are. No offence intended, but if you give off the impression that you are well-schooled or confident in your sexuality, he may feel intimidated by unfounded notions that he won't be able to live up to your expectations.

It could may other reasons, but this is my personal take on the matter. The only thing you can do is investigate. Despite overwhelming popular belief, guys are not turned off or intimidated by a girl they would otherwise date if she makes the first move (and perhaps the next few moves after that).

I would suggest actually asking him out if you are interested in him. If he hasn't said anything yet, he could be shy. Or he might not really be interested.

The best way to learn is to be bold and take what you want - before someone else claims him.

I had a guy like this once, I liked him a lot and he knew it but said we'd just be friends. But he kept staring the whole time >.>

I mean even at parents evening at school, he was looking, even my mother remarked on it to me. She was as baffled as I was why he would keep looking but do nothing about it.

This reminds me of myself kind off :/ when I was majorly drunk I somehow managed to get this girls number from someone I knew and made the most embarrasing text/phone call sharade of my life... sometimes when I see her I might stare for a few seconds and think what could have been and we've spoken since and I apologised but I'm too shy to try again and besides I probably scared her off but ohwell... life goes on.

Hey there, this guy could be shy and that will mean having to chase him up again and ask why he hasn't called and ask for his number, but I'm sorry to say, this guy sounds a little weird to me with all the staring.

It could be that he does like you but is being influenced by other people, but from what you've described to us, I don't think it's that.

By the way is this "loveme" again? If so, I would recommend giving up on this guy and forget about him hey, you deserve someone who is going to show that they're interested, likes talking to you, doesn't send mixed signals or act all weird around you.

Staring doesn't always mean that , it can mean a million things. Maybe he thinks your just unusual , or maybe his just fantasizing about a black chick but
wouldn't act on it , or maybe he just likes your hair. I stare a hair I like all the time.
