Is it normal that I won't go out with a guy if I am not physically attracted to him? I see a lot of pretty girls with ugly guys at my college and it makes me feel like they have no standards or something, or maybe they're just sluts. But I guess I'm kind of picky when it comes to dating, because for me there has to be that spark. I turned down 3 guys last year because I did not feel attracted to them at all. It's not that I don't like them as friends, I just don't see the point of going out with someone if I don't have a crush on him, it's pointless to me. IIN?

    Good for you, never lower your standards and settle for less, it will only make you unhappy and insecure in the long run and you'll always have second thoughts that you could have done better.

    I kind of know what you mean, I find myself getting crushes on unattainable people and it's really intense, however I know the type of people I crush on aren't the type that would work in a relationship.

    I'd say, if you get along well, and that you could potentially grow feelings for them, then why not? I've found that sometimes I'll not have that spark initially, but then I'll go out with a guy and find that spark.

    YOu must give them a try and dont bitch about it maybe u feel a spark afterwards they made efforts to ask you out i feel like u must get rejected like them once to know the pain :) have a good day

      But I just can't... I have a specific preference and so it makes it impossible to feel attraction towards anyone who does not fall into that category... Why must I be cursed with this??

      Actually I do, but if the spark ain't there I won't even consider dating them. I couldn't think about kissing someone I didn't find attractive
