I wish my friend was my mother

Hello
I'm 20 years old and my friend is 54 , I really love her like a mother ( i'm straight girl).
She has tow girls older than me but not very much.
I dont know is it normal to love her like my mother and sometimes I wish she would love me like her daughters.
I think she loves me too
but I am not sure she keeps calling me my dear ok this is not enough but we had chat manytimes but now we rarly chat.
I know she is not my mom and I dont know do I need help???

    Normal. My friend, Momma Faye, who passed away 6 years ago at 38 was like my Mom... I called her Momma and she treated me like a daughter

    I have another friend who is 39, I am 20, her oldest is 2 years older than me and she too treats me like a daughter and I refer to her as Mom.

    Family need not be blood related, at least not as far as I'm concerned.

    Maybe. Does you own mom not tell you she loves you? Well you do not say. But you have an older friend who no doubt loves you, but not as her daughter. Because you are not - obviously. So you have a friend who is as old as your mom who loves you. Where are you at with your mom? And if mom doesn't appreciate you, well aren't you the lucky gal to know that others see you as you are - a loveable gal. I said "maybe" because if you feel you need to talk with someone then do. But maybe you know who you are and how other people appreciate that.

        Oh well gosh - I wondered where your mom was, and condolences even though that was some time ago. Your mom would be happy that you had found so much love in your life. But now you feel the connection is drying up? Do I have that right? Have you been making friends, and connecting with anyone special? You know what love is, so ....
