I will never

I'll start with the fact that I am female and 22.
Anyway
I hate dresses and skirts. I have even since around age 6-7. I won't wear them to weddings, Birthday, things where it says it's compulsory. When I was twelve their was this dance thing and you had to wear a dress. I talked to my teachers about how I understood but I refused to wear a dress or skirt. They talked to my parents and they made me wear a dress so I put one on and ripped it off as soon as I got there. I was very proud of what I had underneath. Black leggings and a jumper that said "this is my dress"

They didn't let me in. I was really glad. I hated dancing.
I haven't worn a dress since (I'm 22) I'm getting married And I still won't wear a dress.

Is it normal?

I don't understand hating them so much you won't wear one even on just special occasions but that said, there's nothing wrong with it either.
Wear what you want as long as it's appropriate and not a pants suit(Just a personal thing I HATE the way a pants suits look on women)

There's nothing wrong with not wanting to wear certain clothes with more than enough viable alternatives.

I was never a huge fan of dresses or skirts and due to a disability sitting with my legs crossed is incredibly painful. For both those reasons I very rarely wear dresses and I won't be wearing one at my wedding either. My fiance is perfectly fine with it and never expected anything else (and I doubt yours does, he fell in love with you after all!) My only worry might be the mothers, but mine had her second marriage without a dress as well, despite loving casual dresses and his mother is always a peach, doubt she'll make a fuss.

LOL I don't own many dresses. I much prefer pants but I'll still wear one. I'm wearing blue to my wedding not white though. 100% normal as in it's not hurting anyone.

Just wear what you want, there are no rules on wearing dresses. I used to wear them as a kid but now barely ever, I hate my legs so I don't wear them.

So then, you absolutely refuse to wear a dress or a skirt. We all have and make choices, once we have reached the age of maturity and have a mind that allows such choices to be at least half-acceptable. I am thinking you have not yet reached that age, irrespectiv of what ever age you are and were I to be the one to walk down the aisle of marriage, as your 'so called' and maybe pretend husband is about to do, then I would not even bother to turn up at the church. I think you need to grow up and I think your ripping off of whatever it was you were supposedly wearing, in order to dispaly 'This is what I'm wearing" it total hogwash.

not normal as far as fitting into the Guassian curve but no big deal - it's your life. if you don't want to wear dresses, than don't
